## Mission

Independent editorial journalism covering peptide science — GLP-1 receptor agonists, healing peptides, longevity research, growth-hormone secretagogues, and the regulatory landscape around them. Newsletter-first. Reader-funded (planned). No vendor sponsorship of content.

## Editorial constraints (what you can trust from us)

- Every peptide page links to primary literature: PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, FDA.gov, federal register.
- Evidence tiers are labeled explicitly: "well-established," "moderate human data," "limited human data," "preclinical / animal-only."
- We do not publish dosing protocols for research-use-only peptides.
- We do not publish first-person product endorsements or before/after images.
- Vendor recommendations only appear for vendors with an active affiliate relationship; affiliate disclosure is inline.
- Every article carries a dated "last updated" and "reviewed on" timestamp.
- We correct errors visibly, leaving the original text strike-through with an explanation.

## Editorial review vs medical review

At present The Peptide Examiner uses editorial review (not medical review). Articles are fact-checked against primary sources by editors, but no licensed physician or pharmacist holds formal review authority over every page. Retaining a named medical reviewer is a priority.

Pages display `"Editorially reviewed"` until a medical reviewer is retained. After that, applicable pages will display `"Medically reviewed by [Name], [Credentials]"` with the review date.
